You should not use a UI based tool because then there might be overheads of their UI. Terminal will give you more accurate numbers. That said, I'm not aware of any other tools. I'm happy to jump on a call with you if you want some help figuring out the tools :)

Won't recommend AM5, it's too expensive right now. Also, you can compare prices of DDR4 vs DDR5. Ofcourse, it doesn't matter if you have lots of money but price to value is lower on AM5 right now.
