    Random DAC/Amp Thread!!

Thanks bud. I ordered it. @esanthosh, I was not sure there was an extra charge for the earphones, but they are including the R3 free. I am sure that can't be bad! BTW, how is the built quality of these earphones? I remember I used to use the HiFiman RE2 and the built quality was atrocious. It...

    Lenovo P780 Alleged Problems

No such issues faced so far bud. Yes on installing the Cubix case, at the very first time, one corner of the screen protector did seem to rise a bit, which was quickly resolved by reapplying it.

    Lenovo P780 Alleged Problems

I am using a Cubix case that kind of wraps around the backside of the phone. Kind of nonintrusive. I prefer it to a flip cover.

    Random IEM / Headphone Rants

Guys, wonder if this is the appropriate place to put it, without having to start a new thread. Source being the old rockboxed Sansa Clip+, which is a good headphone amp for either of these headphones: Audio Technica ATH-AD700 and the M50. Thanks guys.

    15-20K Suggest a phone - Sony Xperia L vs Huawei G700 vs Lenovo P780

Somone on the Lenovo forums recommended installing "USSD to Notification" app from the Play store. And since doing that the notifications come, neatly tucked away in a non-intrusive manner. I think that is a nifty app which both does away with the bug and also puts the USSD notifications away...

    15-20K Suggest a phone - Sony Xperia L vs Huawei G700 vs Lenovo P780

Depends on your needs really. The first android phone I used was an HTC Desire HD and it was awesome for its times, but it meant carrying two bulges in the pocket - one the phone, the other the charger! For me battery is all important, so I went for the P780. I hate leaving my phone to charge at...

    15-20K Suggest a phone - Sony Xperia L vs Huawei G700 vs Lenovo P780

I have been in the office all day today, 9 to 4 pm (now), Data connection is off, but WiFi continuously on and the battery is at 92%, started off at 100%. Regular inflow of phone calls, SMS, and emails pushing every couple of minutes.

Buddy, I pair my phone every day with my car's bluetooth (Blue&Me - Fiat) and it works flawlessly. Have not tried it with any other bluetooth device as I don't use one. Cheers!

    15-20K Suggest a phone - Sony Xperia L vs Huawei G700 vs Lenovo P780

Did you get your phone yet? Sorry I was travelling and could not respond earlier. Here is my take on the P780, Lenovo. It is a good phone. Battery lasts me two days with wifi (including a couple of hours of using the wi-fi hotspot). Call quality is very good. I have heard people complain about...

    10-15K Gionee Dream D1/Elife E3

I would go with the Dream D1 if : Gorilla Glass is important to you. Also, the display in the D1 would be better. Lenovo P780, I have it. Battery wise it is good. Facing a problem with no service notifications appearing after call/SMS. Have not found a solution yet, so do look out for this...

15-20K Dual-Sim phone, crisp display, good battery life, gorilla glass a bonus!

Guys, I will elaborate on usage and battery consumption in a few days, but I will say yes, 3g and Wifi, both drain the battery, 3g more than wifi, I think, but when you use the phone, you feel the battery is not drained much at all!! Unlike other phones. It is quite amazing. Have not found the...
