The edge the OUYA makers have is that it has not been designed for mobile use. It draws AC power, has a cooling fan, has a separate Nvidia team to overclock it. So IMO it might have power that can run some great games at good fps. I don't know if they're gonna sell or not, but their low price is...

I doubt anybody in India would be selling the USB jig. You'd have to go the ebay route. Order it from overseas.

Hey, I have been looking at the OUYA and it does seem like a fine device. Its got good specs Tegra3, which I think will be maxed out since battery optimization is not needed. And Alsoits got the Nvidia support. I just want to know, is it worth investing in such a gadget for casual gameplay...

Hmm. Galaxy Duos will be your best bet. I saw somewhere it was up for grabs for 12k. Or you can maybe wait it out ,S4 will launch soon(~ march15). So S2 prices might come down to your range.

I know the Micromax pricing and features might entice you to buy it, but from my experience in handling the >10k micromax phones I have come to learn that they dont have quality. You see there are very tiny things that keep the biggies from low brand companies, which they wont emulate in any...

The Xperia SL, HTC One X. They are good devices but IMHO not any better than the nexus.

No point in using Hopshopgo and ppobox. Firstly your brother will have to ship it to their address and then they'll ship it to you. It will be better if he directly ships it to you via UPS/DHL. Dont use USPS as they turn to IndiaPost after entering India.

^^ Yep, I'll second that. One X+ is a great device. It has the best LCD display in the market now and after M7, it will get cheaper. So that will be the best time to get one. Also it has 64GB onboard storage and BIS 8MP camera.

Mate get a Nexus 4 if you can. Nothing beats it at the moment. Pure Android experience. However there are other devices too if you are not inclined to buy an LG product.

This is a CDMA phone(supports GSM). Is it working on any GSM network.?

As stated above, the Indian version is in fact the International version. The other version out there is the US one. The difference is that the US version carries a dual core processor with 2 GB ram and LTE. the international version is quad core with 1 GB Ram and no LTE.

At that budget you could get a S3 (preowned) , Though from your 2 choices I will definitely say s2 is the better one. (just my opinion)

Thats a good choice mate. Sony does have good cam and display.... But IMHO I would have wanted you to buy samsung galaxy s2.(community support custom roms)
