While you are right for the OS part of Windows 7. Dual core is definitely needed if they want to compete with Android and Apple. I believe dual core can pave way to better gaming, better multimedia options like 1080p HD video recording and playback etc.

^^ I wouldn't say Galaxy S has better option than Galaxy R since you are comparing single core to a dual core phone. Dual core will always win. But you are right that Galaxy S is better than option than Galaxy S Plus and Galaxy SL

^^ Actually Samsung Galaxy S Plus is also overpriced. Because it is a single core phone and it comes with scorpion processor/Adrenos 205 GPU. While the processor is clocked at 1.4 Ghz, it is still no match for Galaxy S. That thing is still a beast.
