    90K+ Laptop for college

@sid1712 USA@mutant Was just checking up again on the new Surface Book 2.. Man, it looks gorgeous! But sadly, if you dig deep enough, you'll notice that if the batteries show signs of age, even MS will NOT replace it. They will charge you ~$500 and will give you a refurbished device. That is a...

    90K+ Laptop for college

@mutant I wanted to include one of the Surfaces, considering it's from Microsoft themselves. But then, once again, the pricing was on the higher side (yes, higher than even the MacBook Pro). I would really be grateful if you could give me your honest review, cons including! Thanks in advance.. :)

    90K+ Laptop for college

Hello all. It has been so many years since I posted a thread on this forum. I'm (finally) in need for a new laptop, after owning the first-gen Retina MacBook Pro (13-inch) from 2012. It has been a sturdy and loyal machine, but judging by the troubles that I'm getting now, the time has finally...

    iOS Downgrade to iOS 10

To be honest, I have never faced any throttling issues, because I'm still on iOS 10.1.1. Not because I am jailbroken!

    iOS Downgrade to iOS 10

I don't think so! You can't downgrade jailbreak or not to any version unless Apple is signing those versions!

Laptops XPS 15 9560 QC issues in Indian models?

Apple's customer support is miles ahead of Dell. Even if by chance you get a laptop with a faulty keyboard, I'm pretty sure Apple would replace it for free!

India comes out on top in improving broadband speeds in 2017: Ookla

Wow, I didn't know Spectranet offered. But then, they have had quite a huge number of complaints from their customers in the past, haven't they? Many criticized about cables being cut frequently. If they can offer it with good customer service, they're golden! :)

News Apple might be intentionally slowing down old iPhones to preserve battery life

Thank God I am still on iOS 10.1.1. Apparently, Apple started slowing down the 6s series from iOS 10.2.1. So my device is more than fine now! :p Although, very very rarely, the device restarts for no obvious reasons. But then since it isn't often, I am least bothered. :)

India comes out on top in improving broadband speeds in 2017: Ookla

^^ Which ISP in India is offering 1Gbps at less than 1K?! o_O As far as I know, only ACT offers it commercially in Hyderabad and that too for 5K, if I'm not mistaken!

Review Xiaomi Mi Band 2 review

It does not have continuous HR sensing, so please do not expect anything similar to Fitbit. You have to manually invoke it, and it definitely won't show you a chart at the end of the day or anything similar to that. But as @hotshot05 said, it costs so much less than a Fitbit, so yeah it is...

Review Xiaomi Mi Band 2 review

It does have a heart rate sensor, just that it does not monitor it always. It only does when you initiate it either through the Band itself or the Mi Fit app.

ACT Broadband - Plan updates 2017

Yes, this is how they're calculating.. Even if you download 190GB and upload only 10GB, you'll still be within the limits.

ACT Broadband - Plan updates 2017

This is in Chennai. Mine got upgraded from 75 Mbps, 130 GB to 260GB. Some are quoting it's downloads + uploads combined into one..

ACT Broadband - Plan updates 2017

I was on a 50 Mbps plan till 90GB, and 512 Kbps after that (for Rs. 1099 before tax), and now they've added an extra 50GB, taking the total to 140GB. I rarely go through 70GB in a month, so it doesn't make much use to me..I'm from Chennai by the way!

    Pune to get Google WiFi

I don't get it.. It's basically Wifi hotspots at train stations right? I mean, what's there to get excited about? It's not like they're bringing Google Fiber to India.. :(
