Ugoos for you hands down, since you are fine with Kodi, it works fine with Ugoos, and fyi, even with shield, you had to make some compromises, its just you probably didnt notice them or DV didnt play for you (Dolby Vision logo should be visible once you start playing a file). Look at this sheet...

no idea about all of this, but dont buy Zidoo, Ugoos AM6B is the best media streamer/player around with CoreElec installed on it, its probably the only player available which can play DV without weirdo compromises.

even at 4k, the way to look at cpu bottlenecks is to drop res, so that GPU is not bottlenecked, if the 1080p benchmarks look on par with let's say higher cpu benchmarks, then the cpu can absolutely drive the card watch HUB/Gamers Nexus for CPU reviews, I wont suggest either of them for reviews...
