I think a used GPU should take care of it. No need of replacing the CPU. Even an ancient one like GT210/GT710 should be fine, I guess. But don't think of running any games off it. Don't run any mainstream GPU on that crappy PSU.

I will give PDFGEAR a try. The Adobe reader is a resource hog and always wants you to buy their ridiculously priced subscription.

Haptics and adaptive triggers work in WIRED mode only. Otherwise all other function work properly with Bluetooth. I still prefer the Xbox controller for playing on windows.

I have also played GEARS 5 on TV via PC and never observed any artifacts. The lag was negligible. I cannot comment on spreadsheets or word processor as TV seems too big for those kind of tasks. But watching movies and playing games is a treat on big screen.
