That's cool then. No Jmicron problems and X1900XT is supported perfectly. All your hardware is good to go. You just have to put the DVD in and install away. Monitors Which 17/19 inch monitor to buy?

Forget 17, for 19 inch either the Dell 198WFP or LG 194/196WT, make sure it has DVI. Should be around 9.5-9.9k for the LG or less. I would suggest you consider 20, both Dell and LG have decent models. I know the LG 206WT is 12.9k at Chroma.

Vodafone to bring iPhone to India (confirmed)

I suspect that pricing Gaurish references is likely. Vodaphone compared to Hutch is much more aggressive and like Airtel seem to be in a hurry to go and sign up as many subscribes as they can pronto. That's very much like how they operate internationally. Considering the 2g model will soon...

    Most Awaited Phones Of 2008

How about HTC Dream which is supposed to be the first Android OS powered phone. There are some early screen shots but they are fugly and I doubt Google will let the first Android phone be so unimpressive.

Security Software Which is the best free AV around?

Norton was ruining my bro's pc, he is in the UK. So asked him to get avg that being free. The dodo went to AVG site and fell for some marketing speak about paid version being more secure bla bla bla and bought it. If I had known he was going to pay I would have pointed him to NOD32.

With the release of pwnage/bootneuter things are extremely flexible. With the new tools by the dev-team you can move between bootloader 3.9/4.6/3.9FB/4.6FB effortlessly. The big deal is thanks to pwnage you don't have to downgrade bootloader to use the latest basebands so you can now use...

you need to install hwinfo to get bootloader and lots of other info. Add http://www.trejan.com/irepo in your installer sources. If you used iPlus/iLiberty for firmware 114 and haven't used Ziphone before, then you can be 100% sure your bootloader is 3.9FB. That's how the unlocks works.

Setting up WIFI network @ home

200m is going to take serious INFRASTRUCTURE. 20m is easily doable with any wifi router. I personally use Buffalo HPG54 for connecting 2 laptops and a desktop across two 2 bedroom flats on the same floor and get reception everywhere. Even the Buffalo G54S which is cheaper at 2.2k is good. It...

Tutorial: iPhone Outlook/Google Calendar 2 way Sync Over the Air

SyncML is supposed to be a powerful standard with even push mail capabilities but seeing how many hoops one has to go through I am skeptical of its value. The ideal scenario would be a built in SyncML client and a SyncML server (preferably free) that is directly connected to Google...
