They don't have good battery life. Too much skewed towards raw performance, leaving much to desire in other aspects. Also, Xiaomi and as an extension poco has made it really hard to unlock bootloader, so custom rom is also iffy

7s gen 3 is good for day to day usage but very weak compared to 8s gen 3. I assume you are taking about 7+ gen 3. If yes, then 8s gen 3 is 5-10% better in cpu and gpu performance than 7+ gen3. Not that big of a gap to be noticeable
