^^Most of these widescreen lcd monitors have an aspect ratio of 16:10, so, there'll still be black bars....much smaller though ;)

I thought the starter of this thread asked for a windows based service...(one of the reasons I didnt bother to post here).... @ RiO : godaddy offering cPanel on a windows servers ? I thought cPanel for windows was still under "Private Alpha Testing" phase...is it not ?

^^pin may be universal...but the tuner is not...aparently there are 3 different versions of aiw x1800xl... - ntsc only... - pal only... - ntsc + pal (I may be wrong here) maybye funky2 can clarify which one this is .

@ x86 & vandal : what I said is "one of the last 17" S-IPS based displays"...I'm saying that from personal experience... I did not find ne 17" s-ips based displays... when I wuz looking for one. & manufacturers like Dell (who at one point of time used mostly s-ips panels) have jumped to TN...

@vandal : that LG might very well be one of the last 17" S-IPS based displays....so, I dont think there's much to think about... @Chaos : I'm confused here...I thought 2005 was 12ms....or is it 16ms ?
