so ups is doing something protective. Do i need to use a stabilizer when there's a ups. UPS -Model: zebronics ZEB-U775 650va/360w Smps- MSI a650bn No home inverter. living in a flat. They turns on the generator. I think manually as there is delay between power cut and generator power.

Today morning power went out but computer didn't turn off. Within a minute or so they turned on the generator and as soon as that happened ups produced loud sound and system turned off. Don't know if it's coincidental.

It seems issue is when generator kicking in. Computer is not turning off when power cut happens but when generator is returned on. Are there ups's not compatible with generator.
