Guide to connect Airtel modem router to any other router seamlessly without bridge mode

@thegr8anand : I'm unable to find another GPON modem+router that should be a plug and play for Airtel and hence I was wondering to adopt an approach similar to the one above. i.e. leave the existing BDT-121 connected as it is and purchase TP Link Archer C6. I believe this might resolve the issue...

Guide to connect Airtel modem router to any other router seamlessly without bridge mode

@thegr8anand : thanks for sharing your guide. I have the Airtel V Fiber installed with the Rs.999/200mbps plan coupled with the GPON BDT-121 router. The promised speeds i.e. 200mbps are being attained but only if the device is close to the router placed in living room and as we move far in the...

If you talk specifically for the Lumia, it would be : $33 incl. local taxes + $5.1 Custom Duty + INR 1150 for S&H. Total would be INR 2590+1150 = Rs.3740. But i got Moto E + Lumia 640 in a single packet, the total came to be around INR 4800.

ADB commands hardly take 2 mins but the process feels to be cumbersome in case you'll want to change the SIM. However, u can have an automated script for running the procedure to save u the hassle. There's also a method reportedly if we disable a few verizon processes, the SIMs can be changed...

I'm yet to insert the SIM in it yet. But yes, the frequencies on it support that and 3G will work flawlessly. It's an LTE Device too but again the frequencies for AT&T don't match to Indian operators :(

The phone utilizes 850 MHz & 1700 Mhz UMTS. Indian operators provide on 900 MHz & 2100 MHz. 4G is served on 1800MHz/2300MHz again which isn't there on the device.

Verizon Moto E isn't having the 2100 MHz band on which 3G has been allotted for use but its having the 2300 MHz band for LTE. Airtel provides the services on the same spectrum for 4G in Delhi. Cheers to @vyral_143 for his efforts for the community :) There was a time when they used to ship to India through USPS. Got a few for my Nexus, Moto G & Lumias. A special promotion was running under which they even subsidized the Intl. shipping unlike $5.xx. Any idea why they stopped shipping now ?
