@MarioBros I never said that you purchased it illegally. I meant that Amazon seller sold you an illegally procured product. Something that Apple considers as illegitimately sold product of theirs. Else there’s no reason for Apple to display that message on product warranty detail page

“purchase date not validated” means in Apple database, it’s activated. Like @sid1712 said, Apple products (MacBooks, iPhones, whatever) get activated once the device is online after getting set up. Logging an iCloud account or not doesn’t relate to product activation. Not to scare the OP or...
