Yeah, kestrel5915 is right. You either have to get yourself an amplifier or a headphone which has an in-built volume control.

^^ Seconded. In comparison to Desktop 700, MK250 has better battery lifetime and design. The receiver design also a plus.

Good review, but I would say that its better to shell out the extra cash for the Logitech MK250. I have used both the combos and MK250 is substantially better in terms of design and battery life. Plus, you get a receiver designed like a flash drive = no dangling wires.

Added a few images and about the viewing angle - no noticeable change in horizontal viewing angles, very slight change in vertical viewing angles.
