The problem is that parents are already accustomed to Airtel DTH and their channel numbers etc for many years now so changing the DTH is hard for us. So figured moving to Airtel Black seemed better as I can save some money there. Currently we pay around Rs.700 a month for DTH alone.

I was considering moving from my ACT direct fiber connection to Airtel Black as we still use DTH and pay up around 700/month and this could be helpful. The options I have are to go for the 699 plan or the 1099 plan. Does it make sense to go for the 699+public IP? 40mbps won't be enough for me...
