Personally, I would not take any of these rumours seriously until nVidia officially releases more info on these newer cards.

Check your ISP's customer portal if there are any options to reset the MAC address. Or alternatively, check if the ISP's consumer portal is displaying any MAC address, then you can enter that address into your router. That might get your internet working again.

Yeah Thunderbolt is really tempting. But some Ryzen 6000 laptops are supposed to have USB4 support (maybe by a future firmware update), and USB4 does integrate Thunderbolt's features.

Wait... you choose i7 over ryzen due to "battery life"? That seems to go against the findings of almost every major reviewer.
