CPU/Mobo [DISCUSSION] AMD 4700S Desktop Kit

Has anyone tried a SATA Hub Port Multiplier? I wanna try, but due to the spartan BIOS, I don't think it will work.

CPU/Mobo [DISCUSSION] AMD 4700S Desktop Kit

Does anyone has the problem of low output volume? I have to install a sound booster, because at 100% it sounds like my laptop at 30%.

CPU/Mobo [DISCUSSION] AMD 4700S Desktop Kit

Thanks for the detailed input. Is good to know that we can use a port multiplier, but also sad to know that AMD intentionally restricted the mobo. Another thing I noticed is that the output volume (at least on Win10) is really low compared to other PC's and laptops I own.

CPU/Mobo [DISCUSSION] AMD 4700S Desktop Kit

How are your cpu temps going? At idling mine are around 45ºC with ambient at 17ºC and the fan spinning at around 1050 rpm, which seems to be the absolute minimum. When playing a 4k video on Youtube, temps rise quickly to 62ºC, while a 1080p one does at 51ºC. The fan stays around the same...

CPU/Mobo [DISCUSSION] AMD 4700S Desktop Kit

I don't think that 75w of power consumption are bad at all. The board is criticized for being noisy, and that is a totally wrong statement. CPU/Mobo [DISCUSSION] AMD 4700S Desktop Kit

I live in Argentina so it's probably a little bit far away... Now, I'm using the machine. I had some troubles buiding it but now it works fine. I also installed the C0A bios update with no troubles. I runned Cinebench while doing other things and the CPU temperatures stayed at 85°C with the fan...

CPU/Mobo [DISCUSSION] AMD 4700S Desktop Kit

A few days ago I decided to buy this kit. The price was 170 dollars and came with an RX 550 (2GB, 64Bit). Some hours later, I saw a Ryzen 4650g for just 100 dollars. So I kinda regret buying the kit, specially for the limitations regarding SATA (only two) and PCI (zero) ports and also for the...
