So guys, ended up buying Seagate expansion 5tb portable HDD for 14.3k.
Wise choice
Make sure to install crystaldiskinfo free software & monitor hdd temps & health all the time hdd is connected to pc. Donât let hdd temps cross 52-53C & try to keep it below 50C most of the time even if you have to buy a small usb table fan & keep it running pointing towards the drive. Donât use the drive to download/seed torrents, keep it mainly as storage drive or use browsers/download managers to download stuff directly to this drive.
What you are saying apply to an ideal world where everybody obeys laws & live happily, we however live in real world unfortunately. For this country, penalizing entire population is how companies do business here else they move out (like paypal did with their Indian operations after people created dozens of duplicate accs & every debit card from their entire neighbourhood to collect thousands worth of pvr gift vouchers at zero cost).
90% of that markup is because of govt taxes, companies donât get any of that.
