3080 10GB Colorful Vulcan NO SIGNAL! in Delhi NCR

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for guidance or contacts for repairing a COLORFUL iGame RTX 3080 Vulcan 10GB that has suddenly stopped giving display output.

Issue details:
• GPU powers on, fans spin and RGB lights up
• System boots but there is no signal on display
• Tried multiple cables (HDMI/DP) and monitors
• Tested in another PC as well, same issue
• CMOS reset and BIOS update done
• PSU and motherboard are confirmed working with another GPU

Additional context:
The GPU was removed from the PC, and the PC (without the GPU) was sent to my office. After around 15 days, I reinstalled the GPU and that’s when this no-display issue started. The card was working fine before this.

The card is out of warranty.

If anyone has experience repairing RTX 30-series GPUs, or can recommend a reliable repair technician / service center in India who handles GPU-level repairs (VRAM, power delivery, core issues), please share.

Any diagnostic tips are also welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Try cleaning the PCIe pins of the GPU with isopropyl alcohol, if you don’t have that, use eraser and rub to clean, make them shiny and hope for the best.

First thing to check is if it shows up in Device Manager ?

If you have an iGPU connect the display and check ?
or use another GPU with this in a secondary slot.

So it’s possible the GPU was damaged during transport.

Check for any visible SMDs you can observe damaged , missing ?

In case nothing works then see this:

Hi, I have done that with no progress.

i don’t have an iGPU but would try and check with the secondary slot.
Damage during handling is what I also think but the fan, inbuilt LCD display and RGB turns on when connected.

Thanks for your input but I am looking for repair in Delhi NCR.

Its pretty much a symptom of a dying GPU. You can try everything else here

https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/jh8adf/monitor_loses_signal_when_gaming_should_i_just/

Some members there mentioned the person even accept repairing of cards sent via delivery service. If he can’t repair it then he will ship it back after charging some reasonable fee as inspection+shipping.

I have heard people steal stuff from gpu when sent for repair and are irrepairable.

Install it in the secondary slot and see if it working or not.

Before sending it to anyone for repair , you’ll know if it’s alive but not outputting a signal or just dead.

The world runs on trust, so you have to trust someone, but wisdom lies in being prepared when that trust fails.

Bruh. This can also be RAM issue. Try swapping RAM sticks first. Then clean RAM contacts. Your PC should show display.

Already tried.

Hasn’t been made clear if it was installed as primary or secondary.

I’m suggesting OP install a known good GPU as primary or use the iGPU with the card as a secondary.

Do check all the steps and report here.

Bro, other GPU works fine! changed RAM also tho

I haven’t tried it in a secondary slot yet. will try next week. I have an AMD without iGPU, so will use secondary slot for the checking.

card is Gen4 but mobo is Gen 5

Is the 3080 detected in BIOS/device manager when you’re booting with secondary GPU ?
