5k-10k mobile suggestions? Plz read on

I’m a 22 years old student & a mobile-illiterate… :ashamed:

My previous collection of mobiles included the nokia 1180 (love the torchlight) & motorola F3 (cheapest one at Rs950). I now want to buy a worthy phone in the 5-10k range (preferable not above 10k).

My desired features (in the order of priority)-

**** Fast (more ram) & Simple interface with low maintenance problems (so ruled out N73)*** Be able to read pdfs & other documents.

** Long battery

  • Music player with an extendable memory of min 2gb

Thats it- need nothing more… :slight_smile:

Any feedback would be immensely appreciated.

p.s.- would like to buy the mobile in a week, so kindly suggest with haste.

Your best option is the Samsung i450 and Nokia 5320XM.

Samsung i450 looks great, I had never considered it earlier.
But I would prefer a nokia mobile due to the large no of nokia service centers in India.

Nokia 5320XM sounds more ideal with its higher internal memory & lower price.

Any more suggestions please?

The c510 also looks great!! Its affordable for its range of features & is very appealing. (@GunnerMania -10k)

Sadly, it doesnt seem to support reading documents & also its winning point is its high quality camera, which isn’t a priority for me.

Is there any Sony mobile (below 10k) which is good for reading documents?

Yeah, its difficult to find PDF Viewer for C510.

It costs around 10-10.4k !
