It’s truly an unbeatable deal if all is genuine. 9800x3D and other AMD chips are also showing combined discounts of around 8-10k. Will report when I get my hands on the chip. It’s an open box delivery so can reject if anything is fishy. Need help in identifying the genuineness, TE community help!

I am upgrading from the OG i7 3770k to AMD after a decade (listing is up in the classifieds) so no mobo as of now but narrowed down a few cheap but capable options for 7800x3D. Any suggestions?
Wish to get an MSI MAG B850 Mortar WIFI but have a bootstrap budget around 10k.
Coupled with a 9070 non xt, Crucial P510 gen5 1TB and 16GBx2 6000Hz CL30 sticks maybe Crucial maybe Teamgroup, whatever comes dirt cheap.

Gigabyte B850 Gaming X WiFi is a solid choice for 16k or lower.
The 10k MSI B650M Gaming WiFi will run 7800X3D fine for gaming if you ask me (tested friend’s 7600X on this mobo with PBO where it was drawing 140W w/o VRMs crossing 90C).
Be vigilant during open box delivery. If its a fake, just buy 9600X & be happy. More than enough for 9070.

We can surely get this for 27k or below in BBD sale. Even other retailers have reduced the price, locally you can get it at 36k.
Big Billion Days will likely have more fraud cases too.

Yes was eyeing for GigaB850gamingX, was selling at 13.5k sometime back. So you don’t suggest cheap B650 from any manufacturer with better VRM?
So what’s the verdict on the authenticity of the chip bro.. that was the whole point! This is what is available at 35k in Nehru Place, Delhi. Retailer says it’s an official import box not an OEM and service centre guaranteed. QR code scan shows legit! Dunno bout the importer etc. I hope this is not an Alibaba chinese import.
+Blindfolded.. as i am going to try to run this (7800+9070+B650+Gen5M.2+6000MzCL30) on Seasonic S12II 620 bronze from 2015! The damn AI says it’s an outdated group voltage regulation design not able to handle the modern CPU/GPU power spikes which are sometimes twice the TDP.. IS THIS TRUE?

Should be fine, the S12II series was decent for its day, but may be pushing it for modern systems. Don’t trust AI with this sort of information; it’ll spew out generic stuff. I wouldn’t use a 3080 with that PSU due to known voltage spikes, but the 9070, AFAIK, doesn’t suffer from that.
