I wanna know which card is better for playing games and for Multimedia capability..As Each one is atleast 1k more than each other…

In terms of gaming performance, a 8800GT > 9600GT > 9600GSO, but if you are gaming on a lower resolution, the performance difference between the cards would not be very big 
To play on 1024x768 display resolution
Budget … tell us your budget … for 1024 X 768 the 9600GSO should be more then enuf !!
But if you can (and want to) invest more..then 8800GT and you can play at 1024X768 for the next three years … 
My recommendation for 1024 X 768 gaming: 9600GSO
for 1024x768 any of the 3 will do. A 9600gso will be more than enough.
As mentioned above, if you want to invest more and be a little more future proof then go ahead with the 8800gt!
for 1024 768..9600gso is more than enough for ur need..but 8800gt would be a little more future proof and more powerful if ur gonna use anti aliasing and anisotropic filtering in games
the 9600gso should be mroe than enough to play all the latest games wiht all settings high.
dont bother with the higher cards.
Also suggest which one to buy Palit Sonic 9600GSO or any other brand and also suggest PSU for this…CM 460W will do or CORSAIR VX450
no need for a vx450 to power a 9600gso. The CM460 should be enough!

Go for Zotac 9600GT 512MB with the new Zalman Cooler and HDMI, Display port, Dual DVI, D-Sub, S-Video!
Its a bang for buck for 8k+taxes

but 8800GT its much more faster and future proof than 9600gso , get it for 7k from kmd . it can handle AA and AF well in games , 2k more for 50% more performance is better buy , and in future if u upgrade monitor it will be good enough . 9600GT zotac will be good too coz of local warranty from zotac .
Supra…at 8200rs you can get the 8800gt Alpha Dog..i think thats more better than the zotac 9600gt ?

afaik foxconn gfx cards aint avail in India.
and even if you do get a brand from abroad which is also sold in India such as xfx or evga from lets say the US.. you WILL not be able to claim warranty locally. in case of any issues you will have to send the card back to the country of purchase.
but is it as good as other renowned brands
8800GT 256MB will do for you .
coz 8800GT 512MB …whole 512MB is not utilised for 1024X768 .
i do play on 1024X768 as i have 15" monitor …n i have 8800GTS G80 320MB on my comp as mine 8800GTS 32MB is OC edition it performs bit better than my friends 8800GTS 640MB .
8800GT 512MB will be future proof .
or HD4850 will be even more…
i have 8800GTS …which i know is enough for my system …but still i am planning to get 9800GTX+ :lick:
