I have been looking for a 5MP , capacitive touchscreen, 3G , wifi phone.
If i put the OS as android
only 1 phone that come under my budget of 14k is samsung galaxy i7500 priced at 11.5k.
Should i go for it? OR is there any cellphone which is better than this?

niet.the i7500 was one of the best VFm android on the market some time back.no way u can find it now.better look at thex6(though UI and os are not upto the mark)better go with wave 723 rather than x6.if u can stretch the budget a bit you can look at the c6-01 launching in mid-December @ 15-16k approx.It has a 8mp cam and capacitive touch screen
the c6-01 doesnt have autofocus…
It does have EDOF so even though you can’t shoot objects closer to 2metres or so , everything else is instantly in focus. There is focussing time required ie no half press etc, single press and you have the shot. Unless you take macro photos ( then an EDOF cam is useless ) the C6-01 's camera won’t disappoint.

Xperia X10 Mini is my recommnedation ..
The camera lacks the bells n whistles but does the basic P n S job very well ..
The small form factor enables you to use/operate the phone in camera mode easily with just one hand
The 30fps VGA recording aint bad as well .. and quite handy n compact design ..
As ppl say the X10 mini ~ 12.7k if u need Android and Wave 723 ~ 12.5 for non-Android phone.

The Wave 723 has a better camera whereas poorer video recording compared to X10 mini.
The Wave 723 has a largish 3.2" screen WQVGA screen compared to 2.55" QVGA of the X10 mini.
i think i will wait for nokia c6-01. But it is delayed to january now. Any comparisons of symbian 3 with android?
if u are waiting… then also look for wave2… though not an android… but it will still be a gr8 phone…

Wave 723 disappoints me. The Adjoined leather cover will be inconvenient while calling.

Dont know about the availability of i7500. Moreover it was only android 1.6 (not upgradeable)
