In my quest to find affordable PD chargers, I end up falling for one of those “too good to be true” scams.
The products as advertised:
45W for Rs 349? with 20V output? 80W for Rs 399? Wow
The products as received:
Hrm, no labeling, no certification, no text anywhere apart from this low effort silkscreening.
Let’s investigate:
I don’t see 20V anywhere but hey, the 45W one is actually 49W! Could it be true?
Load test:
Yikes, Iook at that voltage drop! Yeah, no, these are sub 27W chargers sold without a return policy.
Blinkit did provide a contact to pursue warranty:
Service Centre Details
Customer Care Mail Id : Jailaxmienterprises09@gmail.com
Customer Care Contact Number: 9896044202
I have to say that it takes a really shameless person to name his scammy business after a religious slogan.

I have seen a WhatsApp /insta forward that
To check if your chargers are not fake
One way is to use magnet on the plugs
If they gets attached then It is fake ( because plugs points are cheap iron.
But if they don’t then it is of better quality stainless steel.
Ofcourse I have not tested it and could be wrong information .
But no harm trying I guess.
Also I have 65W charger from realme.
It use to work great but now it does not seem to perform well
I don’t know if the charger has degraded or wire has degraded ?.
I did try to change the wire but other wire is cheap I think.

At least they have the spelling correct. Imagine ordering Slainte and getting Slanted.

Just buy a good OEM 65W PD 20V Type C Laptop charger and call it a day bro. Good quality Lenovo/Dell ones can be had at 900-1100 INR range from online retailers when sales run.

Yep, they only take returns for physically damaged items or completely wrong items (packaging does not match listing).
They claim defective/IT items have brand warranty only.
Hey, that’s useful to know, thanks.
This is true but for something as basic as a charger, when you’re paying that much, about half is markup for the brand name and advertising.
I was hoping to find an white labeled gem, like with those cheap power banks Blinkit had for sale a few months ago.
It’s probably fine, but the label shows there’s no 20V output.
Now that I know that BlinkIt doesn’t do refunds, in the future I know not to buy anything that I wouldn’t be happy with at any price point.
These two chargers and one cable is worth maybe 500 in total, so I paid 250 for this lesson.

I had bought a wifi adapter for 500 approx and it wasn’t working properly, I did show them speedtests. They were issuing replacement first but there was no more stock of that item, so they refunded me instead.

When it comes to power, it’s better to bet on the side of safety over anything temperamental like the half price to Good to be true deals.

I wouldn’t buy such not established brands and also who make products look like some other OEMs.

Let me know also if it worked or not.
since you bought from Oppo website itself. Should not be fake.
I dont know why I felt print quality on the Charger look really cheap.

Blinkit must be charged, if they continue selling these chargers, even after reporting..
Its there responsibility what sells on there platform..
Tomorrow, someone notifies sellers are selling arms, drugs, will Blinkit continue listing those ?

This is excellent consumer advice.
Don’t buy into shady electronics deals unless if you take great pleasure in having things explode in your face.
^ That would be me.
