from the past 2 days i am having problem with the desktop after logging onto WIN XP PRO. after booting the problem is as follows as soon as i enter the password and log on i get the following screen :
then when i click on restore my active desktop i get the following message..
i dunno what to do now..and whats causing this problem…when i go in properties and change the desktop or select any pic and set as wallpaper i get back my normal desktop…i need help..so any one having any info about this..plzz help guys…any expert or any suggestions…
try installing Windows Script 5.6: WindowsXP-Windows2000-Script56-KB917344-x86-enu … Or else mayb some prob with ur IE which is causing it… But install the above and tell if its fixed!!

will it be automatically get installed if i apply autopatcher patches of sept/oct/nov…cauz y last update was only august …maybe i will try applying the latest patches and the one u mentioned and tell u later…
