and its damn fast to start. Even when I deleted that crappy Adobe SpeedLauncher shortcut from my startup folder in startmenu…
Seems its time to say “foxit” bye…bye!! Very fast compared to foxit when I opened large (>200Mb pdf). Now if Adobe made the installer size a little smaller, I would have everything to love about Acrobat Reader!!

The Tech Report - Adobe Reader gets GPU acceleration
The application can now be accelerated by ATI and Nvidia graphics processors with Shader Model 3.0 support and at least 128MB of video memory, the very same that are needed to accelerate the Aero graphical user interface in Windows Vista. Adobe Reader doesn’t don shiny, transparent windows when paired with supported graphics cards, but Adobe says GPU acceleration enhances page display, zooming, and panning in PDF files.

Does it really use up 120MB HDD space ? That’s what I just read. Foxit user myself.
Yup it does … 117MB to be exact … however it consumes a bit less system memory and loads up much faster than the previous versions

Why the hell does it need 117mb. Foxit still rocks then. Its just 1 mb.
