Advice on wired headphones for electric guitar and digital piano

I want to buy headphones under Rs.2000 so that I can play my electric guitar and digital piano at night. Preferably, they should be closed back, so that I don’t hear much external noise. And they should have interchangeable cables.

So far I’ve shortlisted 2. I don’t even know if I should get studio headphones, and not regular ones. So, any advice would be welcome.

Claw SM50

Are you strictly under the budget of 2000 or you can stretch a bit ?
If the budget is under that, Claw sm50 would be a better choice of the two. I would have suggested you AkG K72 but there are lots of cons.

A bit controversial, I started out with K92, currently using M50x

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I can stretch my budget a bit. The AkG’s you’ve suggested come for under 3k, so I can afford them. Is their sound quality a lot better than the Claw?
You mentioned some cons, could you elaborate?

I wouldn’t say a lot better since all of them are flat sounding. You would be better of saving money now and invest in something good afterwards. This, should be your target next atleast - Sony MDR-7506 Professional Wired Headphones
