AI has officially moved into the toilet

What started with fitness bands and sleep trackers has somehow made its way into the bathroom. We now have smart toilet add-ons that claim to track things like digestion, hydration, and gut health by analysing… well, what you leave behind.

These use optical sensors to classify stool using medical standards like the Bristol Stool Scale. use sensors or spectroscopy to figure out consistency and hydration. All of it gets pushed into an app that shows trends over time and tries to link it back to diet, meds, or lifestyle.

The idea is early warning spotting digestive issues or dehydration before they turn into something serious.

Everything claims to be an AI now. Nothing else other than basic IF/Else statement or case statement in programming language. Lol

What happened to the good old days of just…pooping?

It’s true for most devices that have a “smart” tag to it from the last decade. But when they say AI enabled, often they do actually upload the data to AI for processing. TE itself has so many AI features in surprised it’s free

You get to poop on Throne One these days

I thought this was an Air India trashing thread when I saw AI :joy:

Even if there is no AI, these devices do upload data :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

AI helps in charting better course of treatment in major illness.

Imagine the smart watch even has the ability to scan your poop and it notifies your poop is brown today but you ate yellowish last night? Rush and get all scans done.

AI only helps in better analysing of diagnostic medical data like scans & even there the confirmation by a human doctor is must. On its own AI has no meaningful impact on course of treatment in major illnesses.

AI is for noobs…real men prefer b00bs..now go rant jiski jali jisko lagi
