What about goat life during Bakri id …?
They will bring Hindu-Muslim angle in everything.
anyways drama aside…she does talk about one relevant point that had the Govt. and authorities looked into it from early stage with their ABC program. This would not have had happened.
Even after all the money was already being allocated.
Lalu’s Chadha Ghotala has a competition now… Delhi municipality’s Kutta Ghotala.

Just engagement farming, these bas***rds can’t give a shit even though they were as***les to begin with.
Don’t think that way… now everyone will start their drama to save every animal slaughtered and eventually it will come down to chicken and we all have to forcefully munch on paneer and soya.
Indian pet market size is $10.5Bn, a good percentage may be going to those catering to dogs as pets. Then comes the vaccine and medical side.
Can’t say there are no nefarious interests at play exploiting unhinged stray dog lovers.
Only fool proof solution is to put stray dog lovers responsible for everything those dog does.
They really want to get this?

Hope this spreads across India (strays have to go)
This one is brutal, until your kid faces this https://www.reddit.com/r/indianews/s/0vSZv4vvUX
What training can you give people on how to deal with such incidents?
^who wants to answer that one
It seems how many people there are on the street at the time is a good indicator of whether you will be badly harmed or not.
Is there any symptoms that at which point a dog will attack you?
Like whether their behaviour will change or saliva drooping from their mouths likewise?
Give that lady police officer a medal, absolute badass. I would have preferred the lunatic b***h getting punched but beggers cant be choosers.
It’s not their love of dogs, these are narcisistic bastards who have achieved F*** all in their miserable, godforsaken life and would grab, with their dying breaths, any chance to quench their sociopathic thirst. Bas##rds all of them.
Foeticide? Dowry? DV? Rapes? Honour killings? Hunger deaths? High MMR? High IMR? Child labour? Child marriage? Farmer’s suicide? Wage slavery? Tribal displacement?
There are many reasons to introspect the meaning of independence. I feel disheartened that these privileged narcissists chose to question independence on the question of dogs. These are the first ones to call people like Medha Patekar urban naxals when they raise questions on human sufferings like Tribal displacement.
PS: I love dogs. But I value human life and human dignity more.
Damn sure many of these people don’t and won’t own dogs at their own home because it’s difficult thing to do, require lot of attention including cleaning and maintenance.
Reason why they cater to stray dog’s, because it’s then somebody else’s responsibility and their own enjoyable engagement.
Exactly.
I have had dog when I was a child.
My family took great care too.
Even many times I have fed dogs but human lives are also important.
And the situation we are in today ..sadly requires some harsh decisions.
Had authorities taken birth control steps from early on.
These dogs would have not been paying the price.
Just like how we humans are also going back to survival of the fittest or richest age . We see violence increasing tenfold.
Dogs too if allowed will keep increasing and then it will become even worse.
Same people who are trying to protect may start killing them.
So they must accept that even though measures announced by court is cruel it can get only worse if not done in big scale immediately.
It took Bhutan 14 years, Singapore 10 years and Netherlands 14 years to bring an order for the stray dog menace in their countries.
Nothing can be done overnight. At least the SC gave an order and it will take more than 8 weeks to catch and sterilize 10 lac dogs in Delhi.
At least it is a start. A decade ago there were 60,000 dogs now 10 lac dogs and if not controlled will become 1 crore dogs after another 10 years.
What do all these countries have in common?
All small
I did not see Stray dog issue in Russia , the largest country on Earth.
Not in Moscow , Not in Siberia( been to 3 cities In Siberia).
I don’t know about other parts though.
When the number of street dogs massively increased in the nineties and they began to bite humans, the dogs were hunted and killed. Recently, there are going with humane approaches like neutering, given enough food etc.
Fewer than 3 percent of abandoned pet dogs live long enough to breed (tough winter?).
The quantity of food available to them keeps the total population of homeless dogs steady at between 35,000 and 50,000. Most pups don’t reach adulthood, and those that do essentially replace adults who have died.
There were even novels and monuments in their name…
This is is getting too much attention and deservingly so but it’s still not the right way.
First of all i understand that both sides have genuine concerns.
But excessive numbers and the since the danger is there, needs to be taken care of.
But before do all this so suddenly and on 1 go, how about cleaning the streets first and managing the waste better? Ofcourse only government cannot do this alone when the population is not committed as well.
I just hate having to walk in streets in the monsoon man, so much filth, potholes, dead street light, trash and what not
If the government and people first worked on these issues seriously and said okay, the streets are clean and safe, now we also have to take care of the stray dogs over x period of time a planned manner, I’m sure the backlash would have been less. Or even do the other way around, take care of dogs, make strict rules over disposal of waste and make the streets safer and cleaner as follow up.
But no, this won’t happen , the streets of Delhi will remain filthy
and this unmanaged attempt will end up badly for the dogs sadly.
Even then , if this means childern are safer from rabid dog attack then before, this is the correct decision, maybe not the optimal or the best , but it is what it is, it does saves some human lives.
