Well i am only stuck at the motherboard, can’t really decide which one to get. here’s the rest of my config
Processor – AMD Phenom II X2 555 BE
Hard Disk Drive – Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB
RAM – Corsair 4GB (2x2Gb) 1600 Mhz c9
ODD – L.G./Samsung OEM SATA DVD-Writer
PSU – Corsair HX650 fully modular
Monitor – Viewsonic VX2250wm LED
Keyboard – Razer Black Widow Mechanical
Mouse – Logitech M518
Cabinet – NZXT Phantom White
Also i have been searching and reading a lot, and the above Biostar boards have been able to hit some remarkable OC Benchmarks using this board, and it’s 4+1 (TA890GXE) and 4+2(TA890FXE) power phase is one of the best out there, quantity is not always the best, and this is one such case, plus it’s a real bang for buck at it’s price point, the only backdrop to the TA890FXE board is it’s MOSFET heatsink which is below par. I will look intot he Ausus options as well. GPU i will be adding on later, so i do need onboard grahics as well, also micro ATX cards have lesser number of slots, i prefer a ATX form than micro ATX, that’s why i was looking at TA890FXE, was pretty much sold on TA890GXE at first, but with my past experience, more slots are always good to have, they don’t give any warning before going bad and one can land in a very precarious situation in such cases, since i will be adding a sound card as well as a GPU later on, with only 4 slots on TA890GXE it kind of stopped me in my tracks.
What about crosshair formula and extreme, or any recommendation from Gigabyte ?

SO i was searching about the known issues with ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 and i see a lot of people posting about problems being faced by the front USB ports, they basically don’t work and are basically shorting the system, and i was looking whether this has been fixed but i didn’t find whether it has been or not, any idea about that ?
Also another query of mine is about the MOSFET heatsink, can we replace the original one’s with a third party heatsink to keep the NB temp down, cos Biostar FXE has everything i want except the heatsink which is basically useless, the build quality of Biostar is immaculate, probably the best there is. FXE is an ATX board with 6 slots, also don’t care for USB 3 much. Availability is a big problem for the Biostar board and i am facing it right now, can’t seem to find it anywhere.
Assuming that the USB problem still persists for the ASUS mobo, it doesn’t make sense buying a faulty one, any other suggestions ?
