The price of the previous hexa-core flagship, the Phenom II X6 1090T, has also fallen to $235 ~ Rs. 10, 600 (expect it to fall in India to approximately that figure, after the 1100T BE becomes available in the upcoming weeks).

This is bad copy paste job… :face_with_tongue:

Nothing really new … its just the 1100T, 565 and 455 announcement yawn

^^

Agreed the launch is not surprise surprise as in Intel’s Sandy Bridge launch it still makes the bottom rung of the CPU price list sweeter and more palatable, quad cores galore

it is definitely not yawn, it is not like the CPU/Mobo corner which is saturated with Sandy Bridge comments I dare Intel to launch SB at half its price :face_with_tongue:

+1

btw, 1100T is kickass. Guru3d reviews reveals it close to even the i7 980X in most benches and is priced sweetly at 12~13k while the 980X is almost 4 times expensive.

Its is yawn material to somebody with OC’d 1055T :face_with_tongue:
