And to add - your selective price screenshots used from the FK special / price error sale where items were sold much below market rate in sep for multiple items / message about price appreciating with use were in bad taste. I didn’t even want to name you and this “rant” that I had posted could have remained anon. I again repeat, negotiate, but be civil about it. Don’t trigger someone to an extent the person takes offence. You have every right to offer 1k, I have every right to ask for 100k. Neither has a right to pass random sarcastic comments. There’s civil discourse which was missing and I appreciate you telling me I was the immature party. Speaks volumes. Feel free to add the ENTIRE DM screenshots without edit / crop / being selective if you want.
And, as a mature thing, if you are able to buy a brand new CPU for approx 12k as per your screenshot then be mature about it and buy the brand new CPU instead of wasting your and my time sending me random messages. You are nobody to judge whether the price of my CPU appreciates or depreciates with use / time. I am going to act mature now and add you to my ignore list now so I won’t be able to view your future replies for peace of mind.
And as far as my behaviour goes, ask @Kmkaks or @Satyajit_Routray who communicated with me about this CPU. I am genuine, and I expect the other party to be honest and genuine.

I only said the prices were lower last year. Has the price appreciated or depreciated with a simple question mark leaves the answer up to you. Because as far as I know, I didn’t think the 5000 series was appreciated, so I was confirming the same with you. What was so bad taste about it.
You could have simply replied that the price has been appreciated since then and I am proposing the same, and I should have completely understood that. Maybe we could have closed the deal after that.

I just felt very strange / bad when you sent me the random FK screenshot from the sep sale and then messaged me about the price appreciating / depreciating with use / time. These two really triggered me / made me feel bad especially the price going up / down DM which maybe you wanted to say something else and I understood something else. I had already mentioned to you that the prices have gone up a lot since last year and new one is approx 19-20k at any computer shop ( local / online ). I had even mentioned this in the FS thread itself so there’s no reason for you to ask the same again ? And I again feel, if anyone has screenshots of “new” item for 12k then why even bother trying to buy a two year old piece for 12k ? Doesn’t make sense ? I never sent you any sarcastic reply and such messages were unwarranted. I wish you the best of luck finding a good CPU.

Actually at the end of December when i had purchased 5700x, it was available for around 16k something online and 17k something i was billed offline. I was also following your thread hoping for a discount but couldn’t wait and purchased new. I think this is a genuine misunderstanding between both.

When I was looking for the 5950x around 80% shops didn’t have the 5700x in stock and those who did quoted 19-20k on advance token basis. I clearly mentioned this in the FS thread as well. And even if let’s say my price is high / low / absurd / good / bad - there’s no reason to send such messages which have a double meaning. We might be trying to say something else and the other party might understand something else.
For example, last year this cpu was available for 15k-16k or lower - I very distinctly remember seeing this price when I was building my daughter’s PC
I googled just now and out of the 10 odd sites I checked only one had it in stock at 20850 ! I do NOT control market pricing. Pricing is crazy right now

You’re not wrong the same day i was billed another local store had quoted 21k. The hardware market is ridiculous right now. I saw a gpu around 30k lower in Amazon than in mdcomputers few days back.

I was looking at buying a 5900xt / 5950x and I missed the sep sale by FK. It sold for 20k due to a double discount being applied on credit card ! I bought the same for 30k in dec. Pricing is what it is. Special deals / sales / price errors have to be lucky to be caught and can’t be the benchmark for price comparisons. If I kept waiting for 20k 5900xt I would wait till 2028 !

Was this the pricing error patched soon? I remember similar time got nice discounts due to heavy double discounts but Flipkart sadly cancelled the orders

It was only for 2-3 hours. People got 5900xt for 20k and 5950x for 21k. 5700x for 12k. 2tb ssd for 5-6k. Crazy deals for 2-3 hours. Many orders got cancelled but some might have been delivered as well.

I see. I had ordered a phone back then and it sadly got cancelled. Also had some other bad experiences with Flipkart so stopped using them altogether.
Some people got a 75K nothing phone for approx 30K during the price glitch. This price glitch screenshot for the 5700x is what was sent to me to negotiate and then I was told in a mocking tone whether my cpu appreciated with time because new one is only this much !
FK is good for normal orders but they are bad when it comes to honoring price errors. Amazon might have fulfilled those orders but FK even tries to cancel orders that are out for delivery if it’s a major price error
I had ordered the same nothing. Then they cancelled as it was out for delivery (i live in Kolkata so it had reached Kolkata and was already out for delivery next day). Then the troubles began. They cancelled the order but the refund took so much time. When I asked fk for refund transaction ID intially I was told it doesn’t exist for debit card payment. So i went next day to my local sbi branch to cross check. After sbi told me fk was lying I had the raise the issue. After going up two three layers I was told that they won’t provide a refund transaction id even though it exists but will make sure that I do get the refund. Once the refund finally settled uninstalled the app and never looked back. Life without fk is peaceful.
