I wanted to upgrade my 5700x to a 5950x and wish to sell the current CPU. It’s installed in my system so cannot post actual photos of the cpu but posting hwinfo and ryzenmaster as proof along with a pic of the box.
5000 series CPU prices have increased a lot and dealers are quoting 19.5-21k when you call them and ask them for the price so I know my price might seem high but even the 5950x has increased by ~7k since I bought the 5700x and now both are difficult to find because the production has stopped.
CPU is undervolted by 0.125v since day 1 and PBO set to -22.
Not used for gaming / stressed / overclocked at all. My graphics card is a relic of the dinosaur era ( 1030gt 2gb ram ). No bent pins ( 5-6 zoomed pics from all angles will be shared before shipping - right now cpu is installed so can’t share )
Open to reasonable offers pls but do not lowball. I understand the pc component prices have really shot up and everything seems unreasonable right now.
I have ordered 5900xt and it should be delivered within a week hopefully. I prefer local buyers so they can come and test in occt etc before buying. I will also post a 1hr occt stress test photo in the next 1-2 days when I get some time.
Available again as @Kmkaks has backed off due to personal reasons.
Lots of videos available of cpu testing in my pc / taking out / pins etc which I shared with kmkaks. If anyone’s interested I can share them via wa and NCR buyers can bring their pc and test the cpu at my house if they want to
Techenclave is now full of absolute entitled scum who send such random lowball offers / messages that make genuine honest people want to scratch their eyes out after reading the messages. If you want to argue over whether it’s worth 5k or 50k do NOT send me a DM. If you want to send fake screenshots / screenshots of price errors which happen sometimes in flipkart / amazon as the “reference price” then PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BUY AT THE PRICE YOU JUST SHOWED ME IN YOUR SCREENSHOT
Why have TE users decended to such levels of dishonesty in the last 2 decades ? What happened ? Has the population as a whole lost a few dozen IQ points ?
Please DM only if you actually want to buy it and we can make a fair deal. If your whole point of sending a DM is to be able to get something dirt cheap pls don’t waste your time and mine. I can sell it for 50k or 5k that’s my choice - not to be argued with whether the price is right wrong absurd whatever. The current price online is approx 20k. Mine still has a YEAR of warranty left so 14k ( 2/3 ) of the market price is a fair ask.
TE has become really people who are only looking for deals! every listing has to be a deal, else some screenshots of someone selling at ridiculousv prices or asking for 30-40% on the listed prices!
Not naming anyone but TE users are no longer the same trustworthy set we had a decade or two back. Someone sent me a screenshot of a “new 5700x” being sold for 12k. I was wondering to myself that if you can find a new piece for 12k only then why are you even wasting your time and mine by sending me a DM and asking me to sell you a two year old used cpu for 12k ? And this dude had the audacity to then text me your cpu appreciated in price because you used it ? Dude like wtf ? 12k is a pricing error / special sale / whatever - just buy it brand new. Why DM me and then send me random abusive / sarcastic messages if I decline your offer? If I am abusive / sarcastic then yes the other party has all rights to reply in the same manner but why “force” someone to do something by sending random crap DMs ? Too many new members destroying a tech forum and making it a fish market these days
Not worth it. Best to ignore such people but it really does make genuine users feel bad for lack of a better word. These seem to be the same sort of gundas who think stalking girls outside a college will make them say yes
Despite your completely understandable frustration on lowballer scum, i highly respect your mature attitude regarding not revealing their details. If I was this angry i would’ve taken them to hell by now, i have much to learn from you.
I often negotiate on an item I’m interested in. But I maintain a certain level of respect reflective of this forum, lest this becomes another olx.
if people misbehave, just ignore, your peace lies within you.
I have made him an offer of 12k, which I think, in my opinion, is a fair and genuine offer. But eventually it is the seller who sells it at their own price. He could have simply accepted or rejected it, but instead he sent me tons of DMs about how I was not fair in my offer and he felt offended.
I mean, a buyer simply sends an offer. A response should have been acceptance, negotiation, or rejection. There’s no point in explaining to the buyer the justification for your own selling price.
The seller can sell at whatever price he wishes, but meanwhile he can receive all kinds of offers from different buyers, and if he feels offended by every offer, then he won’t be able to sell anything. I myself receive the worst offers while selling, but it didn’t make me feel offended; it’s just part of selling. Unless one expressly mentions it in the post, no offers are accepted.
In your post, you have written “genuine offers accepted,” and then you don’t have the audacity to bear any offer and feel offended. I believe this is the reason why this post has remained unsold for a long time, not because of the price but because of your behavior. To be honest, I find you an immature person.
