My friend will be in Bangalore tomorrow and I need to know if he can get antec cooling fans in M.G. Road. I am thinking of asking him to get me a couple of Antec Pro 80 mm fans. Can I use one as intake and the other as exhaust? Are they worth the extra cost or should I ask him to get me Panaflo M1A or L1A cabinet fans if available.
Also I need a 10 cake pack of Sony DVD-R if it cost less than 250/-. Plz let me know where they r available. R any shops open on Sunday? My friend will be leaving Bangalore on Monday. Thx.
@techboy: First read the topic fully before saying some thing. he is asking about about case/cabinet fans and you are asking why he wants to buy an Antec cabinet… hyeah
@andysmith45: I think the panflo’s are decent enough. No need to blow so much money on Antec Fans.
Try out computer shop on brigade road, he’ll have them. But the antec’s arent worth it. You dont get panaflo’s or any other decent brand here. Just some cheap local brands that too only 80 mm. You’ll have a hard time finding 120 mm fans here too(except Antec). DVD’s you’ll get, MB Sony etc for 230-250 bucks.
Thx hunt3r for the info :hap5: . Actually Antec Pro 80 mm cost around 275/- each according to theitdepot.com and indmall.com but they seem to be out of stock. Do u think that they r worth that price? I am hoping that they will be a lot better that the local cheap brands.
My friend will be going to Chennai from Bangalore. I wonder if Panaflo 80mm L1A case fans r available in Chennai? One more thing, my cousin studing in Bangalore says that he can get MB DVD-R for Rs 15-16 each. I wonder if they r fake?
Yea they are definitely better but i still dont think theyre worth the price for 275. Instead you get a pack of coolermaster fans, six 80 mm fans for 600 or something i think. 35 CFM odd. A much better buy than Antec
I am using the iball Benz. Yes, I have the powersafe 500 psu but mobo is Asus A8N-VM. I’ll be getting the 7600 GS soon. Well, as soon as I reassemble my comp .
I’ll put up my rig specs when I have completely installed my new rig . Currently, my new benq 1650 is in the service centre .
Btw, Bikey, do u know the cost of panaflo 80 mm fan in Mumbai?
I dont know the address in bangalore. Sunmysore/sunnyboi might be of help. You get them here in ritchie. And you can differentiate the fake from the real stuff by looking at the patent numbers written on the side of the fan and the hub will be smaller on the original. They come in various models with sleeve bearings (model numbers ending with Sx, where x = 1,2,3) or ball bearing (which are rare and good). Try to get this model Sunon KD1208PTS1. It does about 41cfm.
