was just curious if we can find any illuminated keyboards here in India?? like some logisys/saitek ones?

yup… the logitech G15 goes for 4.5K..
There are some cheap ones too. saw of those 5 years back. The keyboard was made up of some transclusent plastic and the entire thing lights up. It was selling for 325 bucks. Dont remember the brand though. not one of the well known brands.
why dont you just get some el-wire and make ur own keyboard.
Can power it of the 5v from USB.

A cheap backlight keyboard = Zebronics ZEB-K500L … only 950/- as mentioned in Digit Feb 2006. You should get it cheaper.

Hey eazy, I saw the zeeby k/b. The led light comes thru the gaps between the keys. Not an ideal solution. 
The perfect k/b is like this - Welcome to Saitek, Joysticks, Gamepads, Wheels, Keyboards, Chess and intelligent games drooollllllllllll

The Saitek back light keyboard is available in Mumbai … I wanted to buy it but the guy in the shop said that they had complaints about this Keyboard… so I bought the Logitech Laser Cordless Desktop instead and I have LOTS of complaints about this Logitech Keyboard … Grrrr… 
any idea about the price of the Saitek?

I cannot rememebr who mentioned the Saitek Keyboards … I went all over Lamington ROad that day asking the shops for keyboards and one of these guys menioned the Saitek … getting too old … when I remember who it was I will post the name - But I do remember clearly the guy mentioned that the finish of the keyboard was not good and many customers had complained so he was not stocking them any more.
thats ok.. neway thanx for the info, think the shopkeeper must be mentioning abt the colour peeling off the keys in the earlier versions of the kb, read abt it at newegg, also u cudn’t press more than 2 keys if using a ps2 adapter.
