My apple watch series 7’s battery has become almost unusable. For longtime its health is bad too. But it was still working for my work day period.
But now it has become worse.
Can anyone suggest reliable shops in Mumbai (preferably western region) who can replace the battery.

Any clue about basement of Indraprasth shopping center in Borivali. Apple says 9.8K. Which is pretty expensive.
Apple ka battery price sunke I always laugh.
That is why I try to check online only to end up going to local repair guys…because if they tell me in person at any of their stores.
I will start laughing hysterically.
I am going to the Apple certified store tomorrow but I know what they will say, that battery bad and replace.
But I have read online that apple many a times (most?) will just offer a refurbished watch (not sure if aptronix like stores can do that or not) as replacement instead of changing battery. Say they offer this. worth taking it for the 10K they are asking? Obviously I wont do this if they ask more money for the refurb watch.
Remember this is the Apple Watch 7 45mm.
I don’t think it is worth it. The value of the watch in the used market is close to that price so it doesn’t make sense to pay that much for battery replacement. You can sell it and buy an upgraded model.
But this will be Apple refurb with 100% battery life. May be selling AFTER getting the watch for 10K makes sense? Not sure how much I can get for series 7 45mm now.
I wouldn’t do get the battery replaced for 10K even if the battery health were 50%. I would just buy a charger for the office and charge it there. I am sure someone will pay you 7-8K to test out the waters with an Apple watch if it still has reasonable battery life.
The watch data is stored in icloud, so you can transfer the settings even if you sell your old watch before you buy a new one. Make sure that you upload all data to icloud before resetting your old watch.
I am definitely not paying 10K for only battery. But if they give refurb watch (which most people say is usually just new watch without a box and all) instead, does it make sense spending 10K on it and then later once I get it replaced, sell the watch immediately. Unsure what I will get though because I would have already spent 10K on it additionally.
My Mind days this. Say I can get 8K TODAY with this dismal battery and 18K with refurb watch, it is basically all null and void so no sense going for refurb. But if I intend to use the refurb with 100% battery for another 3 years, then it may make sense.
This new watch too I got from Dubai for like 32K compared to it being sold for 40K+ in India at that time.
I would sell this and buy a used newer model watch. Apple watches depreciate really fast.
Not buying used for sure. I cannot be sure what I am getting and new is freaking expensive.
Let me try some jugaad for replacing battery. Will check stores I know.
So I went to Aptronix Authorized reseller and they told that in India, apple does not replace battery of Apple Watch. I have been given wrong info by the apple chat support.
They told only option given will be a replacement and yes thay is NOT 9.8K rupees but he told it will be almost 70% to 80% of what I paid for brand new watch 3 years back. The guy himself suggested to just get a new watch than bothering with this battery replacement.
So I headed to basement of Indraprasth shopping center In Borivali (people in Western line in Mumbai would know about the plethora of repair shops here).
Got the battery replaced for ₹2500 in 45 minutes in front of me. Have the old battery too with me now. Let’s see how this holds.
Good luck. Although, I think water resistance is more important consideration than battery life for me.
