Anyone know any legal way to register a complaint on amazon other than grievance forum?

On 19th October 2025, I purchased a pair of Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless Over-Ear Headphones from Amazon India during an ongoing promotional offer. However, on 21st October 2025, my order was cancelled without any notice or consent on my part.

Upon contacting Amazon support, it was later confirmed by their chat representative that the cancellation occurred due to a mistake on Amazon’s end. Despite admitting the error, Amazon has refused to restore the order at the same promotional price or compensate the difference, citing that the offer has now expired. The current price is significantly higher than the amount at which I originally placed the order.

Like i was soo much looking forward toward the headset like i am so disappointed and depressed

So basically what happened they accidentally put a significantly lower price of the product , obviously you also knew that . since they didn’t ship the product to you , legally you cannot do anything . Just consider yourself unlucky and move on .

If you are so much looking forward for the product then buy @ current pricing otherwise wait for the next sale . My statements are not intended to hurt anyone’s feelings.

Its not one of those mistaken lower price senarios , its legally priced offer 20,999 running throughout the offer time for like a month ?. Now they suddenly cancelled the delivery ( i was enquiring about delayed shipping & agent cancelled it after the chat closure ) . Its the same price on amazon , flipkart and official sennheiser website also ( the discounted price i mean )

You might be able to get some relief based on contract law , based on unilateral cancellation of a sale but it is a relatively long path.

I wish to take as these platforms keep taking advantage which is annoying

I don’t think there’s any law on this planet that gives you the ability to coerce a private entity to sell you a product at the price of your choosing.

Welcome to life, you’ll survive until you don’t, then you die.

Its not a price i choose , let me clarify .Its the sale price that has been there for like a month

If the price you want is not the price that’s offered currently, then it is a price of your choosing. An unfortunate consequence of our incredible population density is that retailers aren’t desperate for customers. They have no reason to appease you or me with price protection policies/guarantees. Even in the west, that’s a rarity these days and they have a population density that makes anyone’s balding head jealous.

You didn’t sign a contract on a stamp paper attested by a notary for the previous price so there’s no legal recourse. Clicking “buy now” is not a legally binding contract.

It sounds like Amazon had one or two pieces taking up storage space and their algorithm offered a ridiculous price and someone else bought it and now they’ve restocked it at the normal price. Myself and others have taken advantage of this in the past and purchased items that are normally sold for 20k to 30k for under 10k.

No i think its a confusion i am taking of the Prime / Bigbillion sale day pricing which is same on all platforms not just amazon for this product like flipkart , amazon , sennheiser official

A similar thing happened to me years back on Amazon. They slashed prices on a wrist watch I was eyeing for a long time. I saw the drop in price and instantly ordered it. A week went by and it didn’t get shipped. When I called their CC the agent said that there was a pricing error and after the conversation the order got cancelled automatically. Bummer.

Not much you can do really. Wait for the next Sale (Republic Day?) and hope the offer comes again. Trust me in a few days time you won’t be as upset as you are now. Father Time is a great healer.

I just remembered the Samsung Buds 2 Pro offer last year.

Me and 2 more collegues had ordered it only for them to cancel it hours later. Atleast we never lost on Offer fees.

@LYNK_BYTE Check the amount refunded against amount paid. There ae some offer processing fees + Market fees. Sorry for what happened. Its best to forget and move on. Waste of time.

Legally clicking Buy Now, making a payment is a legally binding contract. But the tons of T&C has some lines to protect Amazon against all these legality. Not to mention time consuming, fighting against legal team involves money.
