If the price you want is not the price that’s offered currently, then it is a price of your choosing. An unfortunate consequence of our incredible population density is that retailers aren’t desperate for customers. They have no reason to appease you or me with price protection policies/guarantees. Even in the west, that’s a rarity these days and they have a population density that makes anyone’s balding head jealous.
You didn’t sign a contract on a stamp paper attested by a notary for the previous price so there’s no legal recourse. Clicking “buy now” is not a legally binding contract.

It sounds like Amazon had one or two pieces taking up storage space and their algorithm offered a ridiculous price and someone else bought it and now they’ve restocked it at the normal price. Myself and others have taken advantage of this in the past and purchased items that are normally sold for 20k to 30k for under 10k.
