Should look into a wireless option, (if latency is not an issue).
I was looking for a similar solution and I ended up buying chromecast with google tv. Lightning adapters are expensive and aren’t that durable, but latency is almost zero
I have a chromecast, however, for online classes, the latency is a problem hence looking for the adapter. For some time I was using my LG G5 using a Type C to HDMI adapter but the phone hangs a lot these days.
