I recently signed up for the 6 month free subscription with the airtel 349 pack. I activated it but it is now prompting me to pay 119. Tried recovering my apple music account the same way on my laptop (also updated today) via the website and I even tried deleting and reinstalling the app on my phone (android). Nothing worked they all show the 6 month free trial. I clicked all the verified apple links but none of them worked!! What can be done?
I think it’s better to subscribe for monthly rather than quarterly or half yearly. I pay monthly and its all good.

Best is to share with a family plan - sharing with 5 folks, works out cheapest. You get 200 GB shared cloud storage too along with Apple music and Apple Tv.

Your payment amount is Rs. 0. Only the autodebit is being set for Rs 119 when time comes to pay. No the offer is not upto 2035. The autodebit mandate has to have an ending date, i.e., 10 years max. So, that is what they have set, but, your subscription will end before that unless you renew your autodebit with updated higher monthly price which will inevitably happen in a year or two.
Apple doesn’t allow free trials without payment info. So, go ahead and make the payment in your UPI app. They won’t charge until the free period ends. They are just making sure you are ready to pay once your trial ends.
