Apple releases the iPad 4 with 128 GB of storage

Only yesterday did we report that Apple might be working on a new version of the iPad 4 with 128 GB of storage. Come today and Cupertino based Apple has announced their iPad 4 with 128 GB of internal storage (of course, no expandable storage). A 128 GB version shows that there is a market of people willing to buy such a model and hence such a model has been released.

Don’t be looking to read miracles here, the iPad 4 is the same one which was released only a few months ago with Apple’s iOS 6, the powerful A6X chipset and the PowerVR SGX554 MP4 (read, monster) GPU as well. What is worth reading is the pricing.

Apple iPad 4 128 GB Pricing in India

The new Apple iPad 4 128 GB will be released in the US for $799 WiFi and $949 with Cellular radio slot. And surprise, the new model will be coming to India as well for the following prices:

  • Apple iPad 4 128 GB Wi-Fi @ Rs. 49,900

  • Apple iPad 4 128 GB WiFi+Cellular @ Rs. 56,900

All prices are inclusive of VAT.

The price doesn’t look half bad actually for a 128 GB device.

I would have said that the price looks ridiculous and someone in the right mind should not be buying it. But then I know people who bought a 64GB model for 48K. Almost makes the price reasonable. :expressionless:
