How is the support on asrock in india ?? Anyone dealt with them?

In Mumbai/Lamington - their service is pathetic.

I got my mobo rmaed few months ago as it had some issue with bios from the beginning. It couldn’t save the time or any bios settings that I made. I couldn’t install win 11 as well due to some TPM issue. They gave a refurbished board, not a new one. I never texted the bios settings, but I was able to install win 11. The time also doesn’t stay updated in sleep mode, but works fine in shutdowns.

you can’t request a new one ? or is it legal for them to give you refurbished stuff.

I haven’t heard such thing ever. If the product works, then there should be no issue. I got my Asus Rog mobo rmaed during COVID and again got a refurbished at that time

I had four encounters. Two good, one okay, and one not so good.
Asus B450M-A needed updated BIOS, as it didn’t have support for Ryzen 5 3600 out of the box. Was in warranty (practically new), went to their Pune (one near District Court), they didn’t charge anything, updated BIOS for me.
Asus X570-F had issues with BIOS not persisting, even with a new CMOS battery.
Took about 2 weeks for a fresh replacement.
Near end of warranty, same B450M-A board had issues with a RAM slot. Took about 7 days for a brand new replacement board. (Same service center).
Asrock B450M-Pro4 had blue screen issues whenever an nvme ssd was installed, and ethernet had stopped working. (this annoyed me so much because I replaced the CPU, RAM, drive, PSU and in the end the motherboard).
(This time it was one near Kalyani Nagar Pune) They took 1 and half months to call me back to ask me if I was okay with a B550M-HDV which I said fine as I had no other option.
I got it the next day, no I/O shield or box.

Asrock seems a bit on and off as far as rma is concerned from all the info i could gather so this checks out.
