We have just reviewed one of the first mainboards based on VIA K8T890 chipset. This is a chipset solution for AMD Athlon 64 processors positioned as a competitor to NVIDIA nForce4. had seen this bfore…had also seen comparisons with nforce4…they dont beatem…but mayb they will come cheap

VIA more often than not means cheap. While NF4 may cater to the needs of the OCer in ya, VIA does a good enough job being a cost-effective solution.

Asus A8N-E and the A8v-E cost exactly the same at between $120-140

^^ Yep, both cater to the upper end of the spectrum. If u want a mainstream board, its hard to beat VIA’s value for money boards.
