270 $ is too damn pricey for a rebranded 5770 !! Hell yeah
but we have 2 wait to see the real price in india as every card in india is priced more than the usa dollar price..so ithink the 6850 will be priced around 10.5k -12k and 6870 might be priced around 15k in india
Im really thinking the early deals from the dealers will be around 16-17k. 15k seems too optimistic imho.
Definate at 16K !! Ll have to wait for the 6900 series to come out and the prices of 6800 will dip !!

6870 is more like an evolved version of 5850
6850>=5830=GTX460
and so on
nevertheless, expect the prices to come down 3 months after paper launch:)
If it performs at par with a 400$ 5870 I can see the price being justified really , 270$ for performance you had to pay 400$ for a month ago is sweet imo. A few more days and we will have definite and reliable numbers to exact 6870 performance.
