Okay, so for reference i can buy lenovo legion pro with ultra 7 255HX , rtx 5060 , an oled screen with 3 yrs of adp + warranty at around the same price.
Just leaving it here, because this seems like a hard sell.
To get the legion similar to my config (RAM and storage ) would be about 1,98,000 INR.
Also I’m not sure where you’re pulling the details of the comparison, but the 3080ti being way older than the 5060 is leagues ahead in all spaces except power efficiency, which is a factor not many pros are worried about when working.
Furthermore, adding some detailed graphs to Just illustrate how vastly the 3080ti is ahead of the 5060 for pro grade workloads. If you see below it’s power lies where pros need it. VRam, memory bandwidth and cuda codes all are 30-120% higher than the 5060.
I’m not trying to shit on 5060 but this laptop isn’t meant for everyone!
(I used to edit 8k 360 footage from multiple 360 cameras on this laptop and it never slowed down)
While your intentions are great, the source is wrong. I’ve used nano review on several occasions and myself shocked at the blatant misinformation. Following is the 25 game average cited in Jarrod’s Tech YT channel:
While they may have been off (which I agree to), Nanoreview is hardly what I would call “facts” and as a base of reference. It’s even more absurd when they claim that the performance difference is minimal.
While it’s appreciated that you had the intent of leaving a (possibly) better deal for potential buyers, it’s also appreciated that proper research is done before posting on anyone’s sales thread. Nobody likes their thread being derailed unless it’s for factual corrections.
Anyway, let’s stop crapping on the sales thread. GLWS
Also, the laptop you’re referring to is 13K more expensive, has 16GB of memory (vs 32 here) and 512gb of storage (vs 2TB here), has 8 GB of VRAM (vs 16 GB here)
