Broken screen - the laptop was hit by a football in the playground and suffered catastrophic screen damage. This is also where the top case sustained the multiple small dents you can see in the picture. Subsequently, we got the screen changed by an ASUS authorized service center (costing about ₹ 29,000), but that replacement screen started developing blue blotches and eventually completely broke, and a crack developed in the middle of the screen. Despite being within the 3-month repair warranty period, the service center is refusing to honor the warranty citing physical damage, refusing to accept that the damage is the fault of ASUS technicians themselves. I don’t have the energy to pursue this further, so selling the laptop off.
This could be a great solution for someone willing to use an external monitor, or for a very capable home server.

Note 1: shipping this can be tricky because courier companies are wary of shipping damaged electronics, for fear of fraud claims. I’ll prefer a local sale in Bangalore, or else I can try shipping, but the buyer has to accept the entirety of the responsibility of convincing the courier to ship the item.
Note 2: No box, no receipt, unfortunately. However, I am really good at packing things, as you will observe from my previous seller feedback on this forum.
