ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M2

This is the 3GB RAM / 32GB storage variant. The processor is a Snapdragon 660 and it has 2 dedicated SIM slots plus a MicroSD slot and an FHD IPS display.

Everything works perfectly and the battery holds up quite well. It has never been opened or repaired. The body being plastic has accumulated quite a few scratches even though it was always used in a case. However, there are no dents or cracks. The screen has one dot-like scuff mark on the glass and the rest are finer scratches.

Currently, the phone is on the official Android 9. But custom ROMs up to Android 13 are available on XDA. I had some fun trying them out but reverted to stock for the purpose of the sale. Widevine certification is still L1 for those who are worried that it might have been lost. I had taken images of the original partitions and restored them perfectly. I can share a OneDrive link containing these files with the buyer if he/ she wishes to dabble with custom firmware. Android 13 Pixel Experience ROM works well and has no known issues for this model.

I will also be including a 32GB MicroSD card, Case, MicroUSB charging cable, and a 10W ASUS Charger.

The price is fixed as it is already close to the exchange value I’m getting on Flipkart/Amazon and I’m including other accessories as well. 3 day testing warranty will be provided.

Used Zenfone (previous version I think) before and was quite impressed with the camera and overall performance. Price seems quite reasonable, good luck with the sales.

Yes it was one of the best phones I have ever owned. Pity Asus appears to have lost its way.

Shipped & shared tracking details.

You can check out the [XDA forums](’

https://forum.xda-developers.com/

). They should have a sub-forum dedicated to your phone. Over there should be able to find guides for unlocking the bootloader and installing custom recoveries, ROMs etc. I’m not an expert by any means but feel free to drop me a PM if you have any queries regarding this. At least I may be able to point you in the right direction.

its pretty easy and fool proof provided you follow the steps religiously, boot loader and then custom rom, have done this some time ago on a samsung s3 mini and s4, samsunsung tab 2, works fairly well. Choose the custom rom after doing research as some of them have bugs which might impact the experience, but really nothing that should deter you.
