ATI X1xxx Series News

thats an attempt not to disclose any details, nothing more

Guy is under NDA.

nVIDIA just f*cked up ATI’s Party a bit…

WOAH!!!

That surely hurt!!!

Ati had better think of something ultra smart to counter that!!!

owned.

but anyways what i feel the sad part bout ati crossfire is that it runs only on 60hz. thats something ati will have to look into.

1 word.

O W N E D!

haha, nVidia started negative publicity of ATi’s crossfire before its been officially released :face_with_tongue: . heh.

ATi’s crossfire is going down the drain now. Lol.

i will say ATI has done a big mistake of being late always…

Not when the 9*** series came :face_with_tongue: . Specially 9800 over 5900.

Guys we never know whats gonna happen with the cards… But as for mobo chipset nVIDIA has an edge… Along with SLI2 up there sleeve… You never know when they will hit us with that…

w000t? What is SLI2? 3 cards? 4 cards? 2 Cards with improved performance??

All guess work here…

With SLI2 you should be able to goup any two GPU’s like crossfire without sacrifising performence(Like 6600 + 6800 with 6800 using all 16 pipes)…

SLI2 should support Quad SLI(four GPU’s togather like connecting dual ASUS 7800GTX’s cards x 2)…

Along with other tit bits…

!_!. Where did you get this info from? Or are you just Dhaaping? :face_with_tongue:

I beleive you havent read the post completely..

Its very much possible, for current generation cards 4 lanes of PCIE bandwith wont be a bottlneck hence it is theoritically possible to have 4 cards in SLI.

BTW whas the big issue of Crossfire, ATI has screwed it up but then again less 1% sales comprises of multi GPU systems, which I feel is personally a waste… We all know a single 7800 GTX is better then 2*6800 ultra in most apps, its always gonna be the case…

Thats coz of the CPU bottleneck. If we had a CPU good enough like the Upcoming FX-59, Dual Core 2.6-2.8 Ghz system, whcih MAY be able to reduce the bottleneck to nil.

Two 7800 GTX’s with a proccessor which holds its own, will own. Only then will it not be a waste.

Right now, 2 * 7800 or 6800 even, is a Waste!

The one who wrote that.

Haha Poor Sander’s ! He must be like ā€œWhat the hell was i thinking when i published the review !!ā€. The e-mail showing him in poor light is out there, and even Andrej made an official public reply.
