Nobody should buy this or any similar priced keyboard from established brands like asus/logitech etc when one can get aula F75 for less than 5k in sale on amazon.
Is aula f75 that better? How is the typing experience and durability
It is the most popular & most recommended keyboard in the /r/mkindia sub, just visit that sub to get an idea.
Agree with @The_Eternal_Guest.
This is overpriced junk at this point. Aula higher-end models are recommended. (Avoid any Aula products below 3k though.)
I have been using mechanical keyboards for 6-7 years now and recently got Aula F99, it has exceeded all my expectations coming from a fully custom-built GMK67 which used to be the top model in its launch year. F75 is supposed to be even better than F99 (very minor differences aside from key count as they are from the same lineup). I went with F99 because I wanted a full size keyboard.
The linked model is not even true mechanical as it is optical switches from 2020-21. No one uses them afaik except Razer. It is wired while at this price point, most keyboard have Tri-Mode (BT/2.4G/Wired) connectivity. No gasket mount either, which is a big difference in how a keyboard feels. Also, no hot-swapping switches.
This keyboard is more comparable to 2-2.5k keyboards from other chinese brands with respect to features that they offer. In short, avoid it. The high prices you see on other sites are because of low stocks artificially raised prices before they clear it with these fake sales.
Thank you for the detailed review. I am using a normal hp keyboard, and the typing experience is not that great. It has 3 device connectivity which is the only reason I am continuing with it. Trying to switch to a mechanical keyboard in this sale. I will consider high end aula.
If you need QMK support look towards keychron v series.
Keychron keyboards don’t have a good reputation currently on /r/mkindia sub mostly because of quality issue along with poor after sales/customer support. Some say their keyboards sold here are inferior in quality to what they sell abroad.
I have not used any mechanical keyboard regularly. I will check them. Thanks
