I have a legal version of AVG 7.5 pro and AVG offered me a FREE upgrade to v8 pro. I installed version 8 pro, but after that I could not enter any forum, as my login was not working anymore. Now I am back to v7.5 Pro
I have come across posts in another forum from people who have had problems with AVG 8 FREE installation.
oh crap, avg turning into nagware now? i am still on 7.5 but i think may 31 they will force an update… might need to think about moving to another free solution then…
i installed it over 7.5 free.. working fine as of now.. not got any nags forthe safe search. But its UI has become kinda bloated..its become more resource hungry.
